Publication Сonditions
To publish an article in Folia Philologica № 8 for 2024 authors should no later than December 30, 2024:
▶ Fill in an application form (links)
▶ Submit an article meeting the indicated requirements and copy of the receipt of publication fee payment to the following e-mail address: address editor@foliaphilologica.uni.kyiv.ua.
All articles recommended for publication by the Editorial Board are published in the journal on a fee basis and in order of their first-out for consideration. The author (s) pays (pay) the fee when the editor sends an approval of the Editorial Board to publish the article. The editorial office carries out a unanimous peer review of the articles and checks them for plagiarism; then, the authors receive banking details.
Prohibition to refer to the aggressor state’s scholarly papers
It is prohibited citing and including in the reference list russian-language contributions published in any country, incl. papers written in other languages but published in russia and belarus.
Academic integrity
The Editorial Board guarantees high-quality anonymous peer-review of articles and their check for plagiarism using StrikePlagiarism.com by the Polish company Plagiat.pl.
After receiving confirmation from the Editorial Board that the article has been accepted, payment details are provided.
The amount of the publication fee is 1300 UAH. If the volume of the article exceeds 12 pages, then for each additional page it is necessary to pay 50 UAH. The publication fee covers expenses associated with reviewing, article proofreading and editing, journal mocking-up and publication of its electronic version.
If desired, an author can order a printed copy of the journal. The cost of a printed copy is UAH 800, which is paid in addition to the publication fee.
The author should send the payment confirmation (a scanned payment slip or its photo) to the following e-mail address: editor@foliaphilologica.uni.kyiv.ua.
