Publication Сonditions
To publish an article in Folia Philologica № 11 for 2026 authors should no later than April 24, 2026:
▶ Fill in an application form (links)
▶ Submit an article meeting the indicated requirements and copy of the receipt of publication fee payment (payment details are provided after approving the article for publication) to the following e-mail address editor@foliaphilologica.uni.kyiv.ua.
Prohibition to refer to the aggressor state’s scholarly papers
It is prohibited citing and including in the reference list russian-language contributions published in any country, incl. papers written in other languages but published in russia and belarus.
Academic integrity
The Editorial Board guarantees high-quality anonymous peer-review of articles and their check for plagiarism using StrikePlagiarism.com by the Polish company Plagiat.pl.
Journal does not charge submission fees. Publication fees are charged only after the manuscript is accepted for publication.
The publication fee is 1400 UAH. If the volume of the article exceeds 12 pages, then for each additional page it is necessary to pay 50 UAH. The publication fee covers expenses associated with reviewing, article proofreading and editing, journal mocking-up and publication of its electronic version.
The editorial board accepts for free publication individual articles by postgraduate students enrolled in state-funded programs, provided that they comply with the established requirements and principles of academic integrity.
Along with the article, postgraduate students enrolled in state-funded programs must submit a certificate from the postgraduate department confirming their enrollment. The certificate must bear the signature of the head of the postgraduate department and the official seal.
If desired, an author can order a printed copy of the journal. The cost of a printed copy is UAH 800, which is paid in addition to the publication fee.
The author should send the payment confirmation (a scanned payment slip or its photo) to the following e-mail address: editor@foliaphilologica.uni.kyiv.ua.
